Job Description: Night Hygiene Operative (Permanent Position) Location: DL8 Salary: £17.50 per hour Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time Shift Pattern: 4 on / 2 off rota, 6:00pm – 4:00am An established and growing food manufacturing business is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Night Hygiene Operative to join its team on a permanent basis. This is a vital role within the business, responsible for ensuring production machinery, equipment, and work areas are cleaned and sanitised to the highest standards. The successful candidate will help maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient production environment. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitise production machinery, equipment, and processing areas. Dismantle and reassemble machinery for deep cleaning where required. Complete cleaning schedules in line with company procedures and food safety standards. Safely use cleaning chemicals and hygiene equipment. Carry out routine hygiene inspections and report any issues. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety. Requirements Previous hygiene, industrial cleaning, food manufacturing, or production experience is desirable but not essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards. Reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices would be advantageous. Benefits £17.50 per hour. Permanent, full-time employment. Free meal provided on every shift.
