Job Description: General Packer (Permanent Position) Location: DL8 Salary: £12.79 per hour Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time Shift Pattern: 4 on / 2 off rota, 7:00am – 6:00pm An established and growing food manufacturing business is looking for reliable and enthusiastic General Packers to join its team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced production environment where you'll play an important role in ensuring products are packed accurately, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Pack products efficiently and accurately in line with production requirements. Conduct visual quality checks on products before packing. Label, box, and prepare products for dispatch. Maintain a clean and organised work area. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures. Work as part of a team to achieve daily production targets. Requirements Previous packing, production, warehouse, or food manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential. Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Benefits £12.79 per hour. Permanent, full-time employment. Free meal provided on every shift. Consistent 4 on / 2 off shift pattern.
