**Job Title: Sausage Filler Operator** **Location: DL8** **Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour** **Job Type: Full-time, Permanent** **Shift Pattern: 4 on / 2 off rotating shift** **Hours: 7:00am – 6:00pm** **Job Description** Lime Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Sausage Filler Operator to join a busy food manufacturing business based in the DL8 area. This is a full-time, permanent role working day shifts on a 4 on / 2 off rotating shift pattern. The role would suit someone reliable, motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment. Previous food manufacturing or machine operating experience would be beneficial, although full training will be provided. You will be responsible for operating sausage filling machinery, helping ensure products are produced safely, efficiently and to the correct quality standards. Yes, the job title is exactly what it says on the tin — or in this case, the casing. **Duties will include:** Setting up, operating and monitoring sausage filling equipment Ensuring products are filled to the correct weight, size and specification Carrying out routine machine checks and basic adjustments Maintaining a continuous supply of product to the production line Monitoring product quality and reporting any issues Following food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures Completing production records accurately Working with colleagues to achieve daily production targets Assisting with cleaning and sanitising equipment at the end of production Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining high manufacturing standards **The ideal candidate will have:** Previous food manufacturing, production or machine operating experience, although this is desirable and not essential Good attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Reliable attitude and strong work ethic Good communication skills Ability to work well as part of a team Flexible approach to work Willingness to follow company procedures, food safety standards and quality requirements **What’s on offer:** £15.00 per hour Full-time, permanent role Day shift only 7:00am – 6:00pm working hours 4 on / 2 off rotating shift pattern Full training provided Company pension On-site parking Career development opportunities Friendly and supportive team environment Opportunity to join a growing food manufacturing business **How to Apply** Apply today with your CV and a member of the Lime Recruitment team will be in touch.
