Job Title: Machine Operator Floater Location: LS16, Leeds Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Job Description Lime Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator Floater to join a busy manufacturing team based in LS16, Leeds. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity and would suit someone with previous machine operating experience who enjoys a varied, hands-on role within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be trained to operate a variety of machines and will move between departments and workstations to provide cover where required. This role is ideal for someone flexible, reliable and happy supporting the wider production team to keep operations running smoothly. Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm Friday: 8:00am – 3:45pm Duties will include: Operating a range of production machinery safely and efficiently Moving between departments and workstations to support production requirements Providing machine cover where required Setting up machines and carrying out basic adjustments Monitoring production output Maintaining quality standards Conducting visual inspections of finished products Completing production records accurately Reporting any issues to supervisors Maintaining a clean and organised work area Following all company health and safety procedures The ideal candidate will have: Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing or production environment A flexible and adaptable approach to work Good attention to detail Commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong reliability and punctuality Positive attitude towards work Willingness to learn new processes and operate different types of equipment What’s on offer: £13.00 per hour Temporary to permanent opportunity Full-time hours Stable daytime working hours Early finish on Fridays Supportive and friendly working environment Training and development across multiple production areas Long-term opportunity within manufacturing How to Apply Apply today with your CV and a member of the Lime Recruitment team will be in touch.
