Van Driver Location: Elland Pay: £12.71 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 4:00pm We are looking for reliable and hardworking Van Drivers to join our busy electrical recycling operation based in Elland. This is a hands-on role collecting electrical equipment from commercial and domestic customers across Yorkshire before returning it to our recycling facilities in Elland or Huddersfield. If you enjoy being on the road, are physically fit, and take pride in providing excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Drive a company van to collect electrical equipment from commercial and domestic customers across Yorkshire. Safely load and unload electrical items at collection points and upon return to site. Complete daily collection routes efficiently and professionally. Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects. Follow all health and safety procedures while driving and handling equipment. Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers. Requirements Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points). Previous van driving experience is preferred but not essential. Must be physically fit and willing to carry out manual handling throughout the working day. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Good communication and customer service skills. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. What We Offer £12.71 per hour Full-time, permanent position. Monday to Friday working (6:00am–4:00pm). No regular weekend work. Full training provided.
