Counterbalance FLT Driver Location: Milnsbridge, HD3 Pay: £13.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm Job Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for an experienced and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) Driver to join our busy warehouse team in Milnsbridge, HD3. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced warehouse and recycling environment, where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading wagons, moving materials safely throughout the warehouse, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the site. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck at all times. Load and unload wagons efficiently and accurately. Move stock, pallets, and materials around the warehouse and yard. Ensure goods are stored safely in the correct locations. Carry out daily pre-use checks on the forklift truck and report any defects. Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment. Assist with general warehouse duties as required. Work as part of a team to meet operational targets. Essential Requirements Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent). Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck. Experience loading and unloading HGVs/wagons. Good understanding of warehouse health and safety practices. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Desirable Previous experience within a recycling, manufacturing, or industrial environment. Basic knowledge of warehouse stock control processes. Personal Qualities The successful candidate will be: Safety-conscious with excellent attention to detail. Dependable and trustworthy.
